1870 CENSUS - T. W. Dilley, age 50, occupation farmer, b. Ohio, is enumerated with Martha, age 47, b. Missouri, along with Mary A., age 14, ? [can't read name], male, age 12, Nelson, age 10, and Eliza, age 7, all born in Oregon.
BIOGRAPHICAL: Arrived in Oregon Oct 1851. Donation Land Claim #1931.

OBITUARY:
Died at his residence about 1 1/2 miles south of Gervais on May 11th, Thos. Dilley, aged 75 years. Mr. Dilley was born in Ohio, and immigrated to Oregon in 1851 by ox team and located on the farm on whichc he livced up to the time of his death. he was one of the early pioneers and has a host of friends and acquaintances through out the state. He died of old age, being completely worn out. The funeral was very large, Rev. A. S. Crane officiating.
