1880 OR CENSUS- H. W. Ringo, age 45, b. Missouri, farmer, is enumerated with wife Ardilia [sic], age 33, b. Missouri, along with children Riley S., age 9, Robert E., age 7, William A., age 3, and Nellie, age 1, all born in Oregon. Also enumerated with the family is his mother, Sarah Ringo, age 82, b. Kentucky.
1900 Or CENSUS - William Ringo, age 65, b. Oct 1834 in Missouri, occupation farmer, is enumerated with his wife of 32 years Ardelia, age 53, b. Oct 1846 in Missouri, the mother of 5 children, 4 of whom are living at the time of the census, along with son James M., single, age 19, b. Oct 1880 in Oregon.

OBITUARY: Died, at his home at 1255 Broadway, Salem, Sunday, May 9, Wm. Harvey Ringo, at the age of 74 years, from a stroke of paralysis.
He was born October 25 1834, in Howard county, Mo., crossed the plains in 1851, locating near Gervais, at which place he resided until 1890 when he removed to Salem and has lived there since.
He was married to Miss Ardelia Stephens March 10, 1868, to which union there were five children born, four of whom are living: R.E. Ringo, Pendleton; W.A. Ringo, Salem; Mrs. Nellie Graber and J. M. Ringo, of Stayton.
The funeral occurred Tuesday at 10 a.m. from his late residence and interment in the Pioneer cemetery, this section.
