1900 OR CENSUS - Susanne Groshong, age 49, b. Feb 1851 in Ohio, is enumerated with her husband of 32 years Jacob N. Groshong, age 55, b. Aug 1849 in Illinois, along with Cora E., age 18, b. Oct 1881, Francis S., age 15, b. Jun 1884, and Nellie E., age 10, b. Aug 1889, and Anna G., age 7, b. Apr 1893, all born in Oregon.
1910 OR CENSUS - Susan Groshong, age 59, b. Ohio,is enumerated with Jake N. Groshong, age 66, b. Illinois, and Anna, age 17, b. Oregon.
OBITUARY: 
Susan Groshong died at the family home at St. Louis on Fri., Dec. 14, at 7 a. m., aged 72 years and 10 months.
She was born in Ohio and had been a resident of Oregon since 18[?]. She was the mother of nine children, three deceased, two girls and a boy - and six living. They are Mrs. Joe Martin of Salem, William E. Groshong of Gervais, Mrs. Margaret Kirkwood of Hopewell, Mrs. Frances Wampole of Silverton, Mrs. Nellie Eppers of Donald, and Mrs. Anne Oakley of Bermerton, Wash. All of her living children, and her husband J. N. Groshong, were present the last hours of the wife and mother. She had been ill for serveral months, and confined to her bed for nine weeks.
The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning at the St. Louis Catholic church. Interment will be in the Pioneer cemetery near Brooks.
