OBITUARY:
John H. Groshong 90, dies, St. Louis.
Ninety-year-old John H. Groshong died early this morning at his home in St. Louis. He had been living alone for a number of months. Groshong was a French Prairie pioneer and had never married.
He is survived by two brothers, Joseph of Albany and James of Scotts Mills, and a number of nieces and nephews living in various parts of the Willamette Valley.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 in the Pioneer Church on the Highway, interment in the cemetery adjoining.

A PIONEER DIES.
Mr. John Groshong, at the age of 90 years, died at his home at St. Louis, Ore., Wednesday evening, Dec. 21, 1927. Mr. Groshong has been quite feeble for several months, and the cause of his death was just old age. He crossed the plains with his parents for Oregon, at the age of 16.
