1880 CENSUS - John Becker, age 26, single, farm laborer, is enumerated with Casper Becker, age 67, farmer, b. Switzerland, and Anna, age 55, b. Switzerland, along with Casper, age 31, Peter, age 29, and daughter-in-law Mary, age 17, b. Switzerland. Also enumerated is John Bloom, identified as grandson, age 5, b. Wisconsin.

OBITUARY: 
John Jacob Becker passed away at his home in West Woodburn early Wednesday morning at the age of 73 years. He was born in Wisconsin; survived by the widow, Ella J., three children, Eugene J., Donna Mae and Alvin Ray Becker; four stepchildren, Juanita, Edna, Virginia and Peggy Hagonaur, all at home; four sisters, Mrs. Lydia Keene of Gervais, Mrs. Mary Keene of Cottage Grove, Mrs. Catherine Durant of Amity, Mrs. Anna Sparks of Sturgis S. Dak.; four brothers, George of Salem, Charles of Corvallis, Ed of Gervais and Chester of Sherwood. He was a member of Company I, Oregon National Guard, from 1914 to 1916.
Funeral services will be held this Friday afternoon at two o’clock from the Beechler-O’Hair funeral parlors and interment will be at the Pioneer Cemetery.
