OBITUARY:
A. E. HARRIS BURIED AT PIONEER FRIDAY.
Graveside services for Albert E. Harris, 87, were held Friday at 1 o’clock at the Pioneer cemetery, with O. O. Epley officiating. A.E. Harris, a resident of Brooks for 28 years, was born September 30, 1852, in Rustic county, Maine and moved to Pipestone, Minnesota, in 1878. He was married to Ella Marcellious in February, 1880. With his wife came to Brooks in 1911. His wife preceded him in death in January, 1938. Mr. Harris had been a member of the Brooks Methodist church for 28 years. He was a charter member of the IOOF lodge No. 77 in Pipestone. He had been in failing health for several months and passed away at the home of his son, S. A. Harris at North Bend, Wednesday morning, Nov. 29.
