1930 CENSUS - George W. Brown, age 54, married at age 22, occupation farmer, b. Indiana, is enumerated with his wife Julia B., age 53, married at age 21, b. Indiana, along with daughter Gladys, age 28, occupation teacher, b. Oregon, and son Leslie, age 17, b. Oregon.
OBITUARY: 
George Brown died suddenly Wednesday morning at his home at Waconda. He is survived by the widow, Julia Brown, daughter, Mrs. Harry Shourman of Vernonia, sons, Karl of Gervais and Leslie of Forest Grove, sisters, Mrs. A. W. Nusom of Gervais, Mrs. Cora Dunn of Siletz, Mrs. J. E. Williams of Carthage, Ill., and five grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Cough-Barrick of Salem.
