OBITUARY: 
SILVERTON (Special) -- Ernest Redding, 50, North Howell farmer, died in a Salem hospital Thursday after a brief illness.
Mr. Redding was born Oct. 27, 1906, in Washington.
Survivors include his wife, Edith; two brothers, Ray, California, and Ralph, Portland, and four sisters, Mrs. Bottie Judd, Portland; Mrs. Bertha DeSart, Salem, and Martha Oster and Florence Graham, both of Silverton.
Funeral arrangements are being made by Ekman Funeral Home.
