OBITUARY:
Ellen Catherine Mendenhall died Sunday at the Couchlin Nursing Home at Vancouver, Wash.
Funeral services were held this Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Ekman-Unger Funeral Home with Rev. Alvin L. Selid officiating. Interment was at the Pioneer Cemetery in Brooks.
She was born January 27, 1883 in Missouri.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Myrta Kostenborder of Silverton, Mrs. Mable Cleveland of Grayland, Wash.; two sons, Lloyd Mendenhall and James Mendenhall of Salem; two brothers, Levi Lawson and Bige Lawson of Ottumina, Iowa and 25 grandchildren.
