Late resident of Dallas at Vancouver Hospital Oct. 28 at age of 48, survived by wife, Mrs. Eva S. Mendenhall, Dallas; son, Paul F. Mendenhall, daughter, June Elizabeth Mendenhall, both Dallas; brother, James Mendenhall, Salem; sisters, Mrs. Myrta Kostenborder, Silverton; Mrs. Mabel Cleveland, Grayland, Washington. Services will be Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. in Howell-Edwards Funeral Home, Interment, Brooks Pioneer Cemetery.

Funeral services for Lloyd Wayne Mendenhall, 48, were Nov. 2 at Howell-Edwards Funeral Home, Salem, and burial was  at Brooks Pioneer Memorial Cemetery.
Mendenhall died Oct. 28 in Vancouver, Wn., hospital after a brief illness. Death was attributed to hear failure. He was a pest control operator and lived on South Main street, Dallas.
He was born Sept. 15, 1912, in Salem, the son of Charles Lovell and Ellen Mendenhall. He was married to Eva Houghton in Vancouver, Wm., January 1947. He had lived in the Salem area all his life until moving to Dallas six years ago. He was a veteran of World War II and served overseas in England.
Survivors include his wife, Eva, a son, Paul F., and a daughter, June Elizabeth, all of Dallas; a brother, James Mendenhall of Salem; and two sisters, Mrs. Myrta Kostenborder, Silverton, and Mrs. Mabel Cleveland, Grayland, Wn.
