OBITUARY:
Services for Mrs. Grace E. Blanton, of 2783 Evergreen Avenue NE, who died Wednesday at a Salem nursing home, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Barrick chapel. Interment will be at Pioneer Cemetery in Parksville.
She was born at Sioux City, Iowa, and was married at Salem to Raymond C. Blanton in 1903.
Survivors include her widower; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Scharf and Mrs. Kathryn McClaughry, both of Salem; four sons, Raymond, Claypoole, Ariz, Melvin, at Monroe, Marvel, in Sacramento, Calif; and Glen, Salem,; brother John Jones, Salem; 24 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
