OBITUARY: 
Emily Perle Wood, 81, of 413 High St., a lifetime resident of Marion County, died Friday in a Silverton hospital.
Surviving are a son, Ronald, Coos Bay; three daughters, Josephine DeGuire, Silverton, Emogene Wojcik San Francisco, Calif., and Lucille Anderson, Redmond; a sister, Mrs. George Ramp, Brooks; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Unger Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Gervais Pioneer Cemetery.

Mrs. Perle Wood Taken By Death.
Mrs. Perle Wood, a resident of 413 High St. for 18 years, died Friday at Silverton Hospital.
She was born Jan. 23, 1890 in Gervais.
Survivors include her son Ron Wood, of Coos Bay, Ore.; daughters, Josephine DeGuire of Silverton, Emegene Wojkik of San Francisco, Calif., and Lucille Anderson of Redmond; a sister, Mrs. George Ramp of Brooks; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday at 2 p.m at Unger's Funeral Chapel with interment at Pioneer Cemetery, Gervais. Rev. Dale Moore officiated.
Pall bearers were David Wood, Ellis Manning, Jack Nusbaum, Steven Anderson, Jerome Anderson, and Mark Anderson.
