1930 OR CENSUS - Glenora Lachappelle, age 22, first married at age 18, b. Illinois, is enumerated with her husband Ervin, age 25, first married at age 22, occupation farm laborer, b. Oregon, along with William, age 3, Robert, age 2, and Helen, age 4 m's, all born in Oregon.
OBITUARY: 
Glenora A. Kirkwood of Otis, a long-time former Woodburn area resident, died Tuesday in a Salem hospital. She was 66.
Mrs. Kirkwood was born in Springfield, Ill., but lived most of her life in Oregon, in the St. Louis and Fairfield area west of Woodburn. In 1952 she and her husband Karl operated a motel at Taft in Lincoln City.
Surviving are her widower, Karl; sons, William LaChapelle, Florence, Merlin LaChapelle, Burns, and Robert LaChapelle, Vancouver, Wash.; daughters Gwendolyn Green, Siletz, Helen Hopkins, Amarillo, Tex., and Charlotte McIver, of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; stepdaughter, Mildred Rushton, Concord, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Cornwell Colonial Chapel. Interment will be at Pioneer Cemetery, Gervais.
