OBITUARY:
MEHEMA - Matthias Paul, 81, a resident of this area for 20 years, died Friday in a Stayton hospital after a short illness.
He was a native of Germany and a retired mill worker.
Surviving are sons Edward Glander, Seattle, Jack Glander, Stayton, and Gene Coles, Mehema; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m Monday at Weddle mortuary, Stayton, Rev. Norbert Fritz officiating. Interment will be in Gervais Pioneer Cemetery.
