OBITUARY:
INDEPENDENCE -- Services for Marice Daryl Jones, 20, of 714 S. 5th St., will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Parmenter Chapel here.
Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery, Brooks.
He died Friday in a traffic accident 15 miles east of Lincoln City.
Jones was born in Salem, lived most of his life in Independence and graduated in 1972 from Central High School. He was in the Marine Corps and returned to Independence.
Survivors are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Jones, Independence; three sisters, Jan, Ginger and Kim, all of Independence; two brothers, Jack, Independence, and Dan, Salem; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Mullins, Independence, and Blanche Jones, Salem.
