OBITUARY:
Aug 22, 1925 - July 2 1988. Salt Lake City- Hubert Owen Brundidge, 63, formerly of Salem, died July 2 in Salt Lake City. He was born in Brooks and graduated from Gervais High School. He was an Army sergeant during World War II and later joined the Navy Reserves, retiring in 1952. He worked for an oil drilling company and was a freight truck driver. He worked as a building maintenance man before retiring. He came here from Denver in 1982. Survivors include his daughter, Connie Brundidge,; son, Elvin “Hoppy”; sisters, Nelta Batch of Salem and Pat Kertzman of Woodland, Wash.; and his brother, Ivan G. of Cooeur d”Alene, Idaho. Private interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery near Brooks, under the direction of Cornwell mortuary, Woodburn.
