OBITUARY:
Joyce E. Wilkenson. Sept. 20, 1913 - December 1994. TUCSON, Ariz. - Joyce E. Wilkenson, 81, died in late December.
She was born in Gervais, and earned a PhD in Spanish from the University of Guadalajara. She taught school in Burns and other areas of Oregon. She enjoyed traveling in Mexico, and Europe and was a patron of the arts.
Survivors include her brother, Harry Hugill of Portland.
A celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, at 4055 32nd Place NE, Salem.
