Wesley C. ‘Wes’ Graham Jr.
Sept. 29, 1923 – Jan. 2, 1998
Wesley Graham Jr., 74, of Salem died Friday. The cause of death was unavailable.
Born in Eureka, Calif., he moved to Salem from Portland in 1975. He served in the 104th Infantry Division in the European Theatre during World War II. He worked in the timber industry in Oregon and California, retiring after 20 years with the State of Oregon Department of Revenue, Timber Division in 1990. He was a member of Steelheaders and enjoyed the outdoors and traveling.
Survivors include wife, Mary (McClosky), whom he married on Dec. 28, 1947; son, Wesley III, of Milwaukie; daughters Kathleen Jaffe of Portland, Lindsey Graham and Laurie Graham, both of Eugene, and Belinda Stec of Hillsboro; sister Clara Graham of Fortuna, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Peace Lutheran Church. Contributions: church memorial fund or American Cancer Society, 161 High St. NE, Suite 208C, Salem, Ore. 97301. Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
