OBITUARY: 
THE DALLES – Evalena Bliss Mann, 85, died Friday at her home.
She was born in Conrad, Mont., and raised in the Northwest. She married Edd Mann in 1932, and he died in 1985. She lived in the Turner area until moving to The Dalles in 1994. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and enjoyed sewing and quilt making.
Survivors include her daughters, Fern Osborn and Sally Paull, both of The Dalles; sons, Fred of Turner and Sam of Salem; brothers, Willard Bliss of Junction City, Merrill Bliss of Independence and Ben Bliss of Harrisburg; sisters, Frances Olmstead of Oregon City and Blanche Butler of Independence; 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cloverdale Cemetery in Turner. Arrangements are by Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home.
