1860 PA CENSUS - Sharlott [Charlotte] Westenhausen, age 30, b. Germany, is enumerated with Joseph, age 35, occupation farmer, b. Germany, along with Hugh, age 8, b. Pennsylvania, Emilia, age 5, b. Pennsylvania, Henrietta, age 3, b. Pennsylvania, and Susan, age 10 months, b. Pennsylvania.
PROBATE – “Westenhouse, Charlotte, File #2285. Intestate. Died 27 Jan 1904. Adm: P.N. Lathrop, 5 Feb 1904. Heirs: Hugh Westenhaus, son, 51; William W. Westenhaus, son, 31; Mrs. May Freisch [Treisch], dtr, 28 – all of Marion Co.; George C. Westenhaus, 40, Linn Co.; Emily Moot, dtr, 47, Webster Co., NB; Kate Watson, dtr, 33, Webster Co., NB; Etta Toppler, dtr, 47, Jackson Co., MI; Susan, dec’d dtr of Hillsdale, MI, left 4 children [only 3 named]: Orpha Foster, E. Foster, Frank Foster. Clough – funeral bill.” 
DISCREPANCY – DC states burial in Pleasant View Cemetery, but marker is in Cloverdale.
