OBITUARY: 
TURNER – Verle K. “Casey” Jordan, 64, died Tuesday in Turner.
He was born and raised in Rupert, Idaho. He served in the army during the Korean Conflict. He moved to Oregon 38 years ago and to Turner 20 years ago. He enjoyed farm life and horses.
Survivors include his mother, Reva Jordan of Portland; sons, Rod of Portland, Rocky of Turner, and Rick of Jefferson; daughters Dixie Jordan of Turner and Christine Bennett of Corbett; sister, June Tarpenning of Chula Vista, Calif., Carol Cenci of Reno, Nev., Sharon Leatherman of San Jose, Calif., Gail Mullsberry of Clearlake, Calif., and Wendy Bohnenkamp of Portland; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday in Virgil T. Golden mortuary, Salem. Interment will be in Cloverdale Cemetery.
