1870 OR CENSUS - George Eoff, age 62, occupation farmer, b. Kentucky, is enumerated with Nancy, age 49, b. Kentucky, along with William Bauer, age 5, b. Oregon, and Fleming Eoff, age 52, occupation laborer, b. Kentucky.
1880 OR CENSUS - George Eoff, age 73, occupation farmer, b. Kentucky, is enumerated with his wife Nancy C., age 59, b. Kentucky. Also enumerated with the family is Lafayette D. English, identified as a cousin, age 21, occupation farm laborer, b. Oregon.
PROBATE:
OBITUARY: 
At the family residence, seven miles east of Salem, Friday, Oct. 10, 1890, at 3:30 a.m., of dropsy. George Eoff, aged 83 years.
Mr. Eoff was one of the pioneers of Oregon, coming here in 1847, was a native of Kentucky, and during his residence in this county was quite prominent in political and social circles.
The funeral will take place to-day at 2 p.m., and the remains will be laid to rest in the family burying ground.
