OBITUARY:
Ima Linnie Cureton
June 17, 1924 - January 9, 2000
STAYTON — Ima Cureton, 75, of Stayton died Sunday.
She was born in De Queen, Ark., and lived in several communities in Oregon before moving to Stayton 30 years ago. She was a member of Faith and Works Church in Mill City and enjoyed ceramics, needlework, fishing, gardening and playing dominoes.
Survivors include her husband, Arvin, whom she married in 1945; daughter, Linnda Young of Independence; son, Rick of Salem; brothers, Troy Stinson of Bend and Curt Stinson of Marion; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visiting will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon Friday at Weddle Funeral Home. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Interment will be in Marion Friends Cemetery.
