OBITUARY:
Ora Peggy Geomans, 73, of Albany, died Monday.
She was born in Newhall, Calif. She married George Geomans and they lived in Marion before moving to Albany in 1969.
Mrs. Geomans belonged to the Albany Mennonite Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, shopping at yard sales and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are husband George; son Ross of Albany; and grandchildren Amber, Brittany, Megan and Ross Geomans.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Albany Mennonite Church. A private graveside service will be at Marion Friends Cemetery in Marion. Weddle Funeral Home of Stayton is handling arrangements.

ALBANY—Ora Geomans, 73, died Monday. Cause of death was unavailable.
She was born in Newhall, Calif., and moved to Marion in 1963 and to Albany in 1969. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and yard sales.
Survivors include her husband, George, whom she married in 1963; son, Ross of Albany; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Sunday in the Albany Mennonite Church where she was a member. Private interment will be in Marion Friends Cemetery. Arrangements are by Weddle Funeral Home in Stayton.
