OBITUARY:
Maurice Edward Sullivan, 81, of 1412 Princess Lane NE, died Saturday.
He was born in Beaver Creek, Colo. He was an operating engineer in California for 40 years. He came to Oregon in 1969 and to Salem in 1979.
He was a member of the Royal Oaks Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge 741 in California.
Survivors include his wife, Luella M.; daughters Laura A. Drenk, Barstow, Calif., Viola N. Stark, Corvallis, Joyce Carlton, Salem, and Maureen Coward, Portland; son, Charles E., Tucson, Ariz.
Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at Marion Hill Cemetery. Memorial services will follow at 11 a.m. at Royal Oaks Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Rigdon-Ransom mortuary. Contributions may be made to the restoration of the Statute of Liberty.
