OBITUARY: 
Robert Croshaw, a soldier at Fort Stevens, died yesterday morning at 8 o’clock, according to work received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Croshaw, who live near Salem. He was 19 years old and enlisted a year ago as an electrician in the coast artillery.
The parents had heard from him a few days ago and were under the impression that he was in perfect health. The cause of the death has not been learned. He had a brother, Nelson Croshaw, 22 years old, who is also at Fort Stevens.
An aunt, Mrs. J. N. Davis, lives in Salem at 966 South Twelfth street. The body will be brought to Hall’s Ferry for burial.

The funeral of Private Robert E. Croshaw, at Hall’s Ferry, this afternoon at 2 o’clock. The young soldier, who was 18 years old, died of acute toxic gastritis. He was stationed at Fort Stevens with the Second Coast Artillary.
