OBITUARY: 
AUMSVILLE—Jake F. Friesen, 51, of 8188 Silver Falls Highway, died Wednesday at a Silverton Hospital. He was born in Rosenheim, Mexico, and came to the Aumsville area in 1960 from Kansas. He formerly owned and operated F&M Backhoe and Excavating, Aumsville, and was a member of First Nazarene Church, Salem. Survivors include wife, Joyce; daughter, April Friesen, Aumsville; son, Mark, Salem; mother, Anna Friesen, Liberal, Kan.; brothers, Pete, Silverton, Hank, Balko, Okla., Frank and Ike, both of Liberal; sisters, Ann Apsley, Liberal, and Mary Culber (sic), Houston, Texas.; Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First Nazarene Church, Salem, and interment in Hobson-Whitney Cemetery, Sublimity. Unger mortuary, Silverton, is in charge of arrangements.
