OBITUARY: 
Silverton, Mrs. Estella S. Mulkey, 80, native and longtime resident of Silverton, died Friday in a Salem convalescent home.
She was born on the donation land claim of her father, the late George Riches. Her husband preceded her in death several years ago. Surviving are her sons James, Charles, Eldon, Ralph, Arthur, all of Silverton, sons Chester of Salem and Leland in California; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Warnock, Sublimity; a sister, Mrs. Florence Given, Silverton.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mulkey are being arranged by Ekman memorial chapel.

Silverton – Funeral services for Mrs. Estella Mulkey will be held from the Ekman Memorial chapel Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Mulkey was born May 25, 1870, in Silverton and died Friday in a Salem convalescent home where she had stayed for about three years.
