OBITUARY: 
Phyllis M. Espey, 56, 835 Belmont NE, died at a local hospital Sunday. Born in Valley City, N.D., she moved with her parents to Salem in 1941.
She was vice president of the Salem day chapter of Women’s Aglow and a member of local intercessory prayer groups, St. Luke the Physician fellowship, Christ Lutheran Church, Salem chapter of Sweet Adelines and Toastmistresses.
Survivors include husband, Richard W., Salem; daughter, Claudine G. Stotler, Vancouver, Wash.; sons, Steven A., and Richard Jr. both Salem, parents, Emma Anderson, Oakland, Calif., Oscar W. Anderson, Salem; sister, Constance E. McGregor, Anchorage, Alaska; brothers, Orbin W. Anderson, Iran; Dean R. Anderson, Livermore, Calif., three grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Richard Tuff officiating; interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Hunger Relief Fund or the Phyllis Espey Memorial Fund in care of the church.
