BIOGRAPHICAL:
Byron was the son of Esom and Elizabeth Hunter. He was a College Professor at Washington State University in Pullman, Wash. He was an agronomist and influential in establishing the wheat industry in Eastern Oregon and Washington. Byron was the Secretary of Agriculture for the State of Idaho. Byron died in California.
