OBITUARY: 
Silverton – Albertine Charlotte Damewood, 67, died Tuesday in Silverton. She was born in Baltimore, Md, and lived Silverton for many years. She worked as a homemaker and for area canneries during the summer. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Silverton.
Survivors include her husband, Glen; sons, Verlyn Aerni of Mill City, Glen and Terry Damewood and Robert Aerni, all of Silverton, Dale Damewood and Bruce Aerni, both of Salem, and Brian Damewood of Mehama; daughters, Charlotte Down and Laura Lee Melton, both of Silverton, Teri Stanely of Akron, Ohio, and Valerie Aerni of Salem; sister, Joan White of Baltimore; 31 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday in Unger Mortuary. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Albertine Charlotte Damewood, 67, of Silverton died July 19 in Silverton. She was born in Baltimore on Jan. 22, 1927, and has lived in Silverton for many years.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Silverton. She was a homemaker and had worked in area canneries during the summer months.

Funeral services were July 22 in the Unger Funeral Chapel in Silverton. Interment followed at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Silverton.
