1900 OR CENSUS - Margaret Luthey [sic], age 53, b. Jan 1847 in Switzerland, mother of 12 children, 9 of whom are living at the time of the census, year of immigration 1872, is enumerated with her husband of 28 years, Peter, age 58, b. Oct 1841 in Switzerland, year of immigration 1872, along with children Anna M., age 24, single, b. Oct 1875 in New Jersey, Ernest, age 15, b. Aug 1884 in Ohio, Edward P., age 15, b. Aug 1884 in Ohio, Charles A., age 13, b. Apr 1887 in Ohio, and Hellen O., age 8, b. Mar 1892 in Oregon;
OBITUARY: 
Marguerite Luthy, 82, at the family residence, 467 South 13th Street, Thursday morning. Survived by the following sons and daughters: Fred and Rudolph Luthy, Ohio; Edward Luthy, Powell Butte, Oregon; Ernest, Portland; Charles, Anna, and Mrs. Mary Mename, all of Salem; Bertha, Portland; Mrs. Florence King, Mitchell, Oregon, and Mrs. Helen DuRette, Gervais; also a sister, Mrs. Rosa Weinz, of Ohio. Funeral services Saturday at 1 o’clock at Bethany Reformed Church. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Waldo Hills, Rigdon & Son, directors.
