OBITUARY:
Silverton – Mrs. Sibyl Nancy Gilbert, 67, of 158 Fiske St., died Sunday at a Silverton hospital. A long-time resident of Nebraska, Mrs. Gilbert moved here in 1947.
Survivors include the widower Gordon, son Cuyler, Auburn, Wash.; daughters Mrs. Phyllis Anderson and Mrs. Sibyl Barnes, both Silverton; sisters Mrs. Mae Ross, Portland, Mrs. Wilma Barr, Silverton; brother Clayton Marcoe, Silverton; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church. Burial was Monday at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Relatives suggest contributions to First Baptist Church.
