OBITUARY: 
Silverton – Funeral services for Andrew J. King, who died Tuesday at the Silverton Hospital at the age of 81 years, will be held at the Memorial chapel of the Ekman Funeral Home Friday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Russell Myers officiating. Interment will be in the Warren Cemetery. Born on a donation land claim taken by his family when they moved to Oregon. He was the last living member of the original Wilbur King family.

Andrew King, 81, the last of the original Waldo Hills pioneers, died Tuesday at the Silverton Hospital. He was the last of the original Wilbur King family, who settled in the Waldo Hills nearly a century ago. He was born on the donation land claim taken by his family when they moved to Oregon.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Ekman Funeral Home, with Rev. Russell Myers officiating. Interment will be in the Warren Cemetery.
