Mar 1855 in Iowa, along with Roy J., age 19, occupation farm laborer, b. Sep 1880, Raymond, W., age 17, b. Jul 1882, George S., age 14, b. May 1886, and Myrtle C., age 12, b. May 1888, all born in Oregon. Also enumerated with the family is Almira E. Simeral, identified as mother [of Wilton], age 67, widow, mother of 5 children 4 of whom are living at the time fo the census, b. New York;
OBITUARY: 
At 1257 Marion Street, Thursday, May 10, Mrs. Emma C. Simeral, aged 76 years. Survived by daughter, Mrs. Myrtle C. Taylor of Salem; two sons, Raymond W. Simeral of Portland and George F. Simeral of Pixley, Cal.; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Bowers of Salem and Mrs. Lizzie Flohrer of Denmark, Ia.; a brother, S. F. Anderson of Salem, and four grandchildren. Funeral services May 12 at 1:30 p.m. from the chapel of he Clough-Barrick Company. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
