OBITUARY:
Died – At his home in Portland, Oregon, October 16, 1914, Charles R. Patton, aged 46 years 8 months and 16 days.
The remains were sent to Salem, arriving in this city yesterday afternoon. After lying in state in Rigdon and Richardson’s undertaking parlors the remains will be taken to the church in the Waldo Hills near the Warren Cemetery this morning at 11 a.m. The funeral services will be held at that place at 2 p.m. The interment will take place in the Warren Cemetery.
