Oregon, is enumerated with [mother] Julia A., age 79, widowed, mother of 7 children, 6 of whom are living at the time of the census, b. Missouri, along with brothers Edward B. Patton, single, age 45, occupation farmer, b. Oregon, and Charles R., age 40, single, occupation real estate agent. Also enumerated with the family is a hired man, Genger [?] Givens, age 21, b. Oregon, and a servant Mary Glisesdorf, age 17, b. Nebraska.
OBITUARY: 
The many friends of J. L. Patton will be painfully grieved to learn that he has been recently stricken with paralysis. Mr. Patton is being removed from his Tillamook home to his home near Shaw, where he will receive the best of care and attention. At last reports Mr. Patton was very low and growing still weaker and his ultimate recovery is doubtful, but his many friends hope for a change for his recovery.
