OBITUARY: 
Silverton – Funeral services for Harry Bower, 70, who died at Bandon Monday night, will be held from the Larson and Son Chapel Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. F. W. Zook officiating. Interment will be in Waldo Hills Cemetery. The deceased was born July 6, 1870, in the Waldo Hills district of pioneer parents, Phillip and Samantha Geer Bower of Waldo Hills.

Harry Bowers, 70, native of Waldo Hills and a member of one of Oregon’s pioneer families, died Monday in Bandon and was buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery yesterday. Rev. Zook officiating. The deceased was the cousin of Homer Davenport, being the son of the late Samantha Geer. Larson & Son had charge of arrangements.
