Illinois, and his wife of 13 years, Cora Parton, age 33, mother of 4 children, 3 of whom are living at the time of the census, b. Missouri, along with Ora Parton, age 6, b. Nebraska, and Etta, age 3, b. Nebraska;
1930 NE CENSUS - Orval Parton, age 19, farm laborer, b. Nebraska, is enumerated as a lodger in the home of Orlo Phelps;
OBITUARY: 
Orvall A. “Hap” Parton – Dec. 21, 1909 – February 7, 1989. Woodburn – Orvall A. “Hap” Parton, 79, died Tuesday in Woodburn. Born in Wallace, Neb., he moved to Oregon in 1937 and to a farm near Woodburn in 1940. He was a supervisor for Conroy Fruit Packing for 20 years and he drove a bus for the Woodburn School District. He married Leah M. Smith on Feb. 8, 1932, in Wallace. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Wilma Senter and Mildred Toepfer, both of Woodburn, and Dona Heyden of Corvallis; brothers, Louis of Carmichael, Calif., and George of Hubbard; and sisters Ora Agan of Salem and Cora Rogers of Woodburn.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Cornwell mortuary. Private interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Salem.
