OBITUARY:
Ernest E. Bowen, late resident of 656 University St., at a local hospital Aug. 24. Survived by wife, Mrs. Echo Bowen of Salem; brothers, Archie Bowen, Pratum, and Clifford and Roy Bowen of Salem; nieces, Mrs. Helen Harding and Mrs. Dorothy Wusz, both of Portland; a nephew, George Bowen, Portland. Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 1:30 p.m. in the Clough-Barrick Chapel with the Rev. Louis E. White officiating and interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
