1910 OR CENSUS - Nellie E. Geer, age 28, 2nd marriage, b. Oregon, is enumerated with her husband of 2 years, Bert B. Geer, age 30, occupation saw mill engineer, b. Washington, along with Minnie G., age 9, b. Oregon.
BIOGRAPHICAL:
Bert Geer was Nell’s second husband. In 1910 Bert and Nell located in Toledo, Oregon. Nell was a public servant and served for 28 continuous years as Lincoln County’s chief deputy in the tax department. After retirement they moved to Maryhill, Washington.
At the time of her death, Nell was survived by her daughter, Mary, of a previous marriage; and her grandsons, Keith and Ken Turner. Her church affiliation was Catholic.

GEER, Nell – Age 85, Nov. 19, 1967 at a local hospital. Born Jan. 11, 1882 in Oregon. Lived at 7306 Hazel Dell Ave., a resident for Vancouver for the past year. Widower, Bert Geer, at home. Daughter, Mrs. Mary Turner, Vancouver. Grandson, Keith Turner and Kent Turner, both of Vancouver, 7 grandchildren. Member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 22, 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Salem, Ore. Arrangements in care of Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home.
