OBITUARY:  Stayton – Lewis C. Pooler, 60, of 482 E. Ida St., died Sunday at his home following a long illness. He was born at Silverton and for a long time was employed as a recapper by Philippi Tire Company at Mehama. Survivors include the widow Alice, Stayton, son, Allan, Portland, and a sister, Mrs. Bernard Guthrie, Corvallis. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Weddle Funeral Home with Rev.
