Bowen, Pratum, Dies – Pratum – Archie Lewis Bowen, 81, native of the Pratum area, died Monday morning at his farm home here. He was born on the family farm, known as the Lewis Pooler farm near Pratum, on October 26, 1878. He was married in Salem in 1905. The widow, Ida, survives. Bowen was a member of Pratum Methodist Church and of the Macleay Grange. He had resided on his Pratum farm since 1918. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Helen Davis, Hillsboro, and Mrs. Dorothy Wusz, Portland; two brothers, Roy and Clifford Bowen, Salem; and four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at W.T. Rigdon’s Funeral Home, Dr. G.W. Bruce officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Oregon Statesman 9 Feb 1960 3:2. At the residence, Rt. 5, Box 793, Salem, Feb. 8th, at the age of 81 years. Husband of Ida M. Bowen; father of Mrs. Roy (Helen) Davis, Hillsboro, Ore., Mrs. George (Dorothy) Wusz, Portland; brother of Roy Bowen and Clifford Bowen, both of Salem. Four grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Services will be held Wednesday, February 10th at 10:30 in the W.T. Rigdon Chapel. Concluding services at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Rev. George W.
