OBITUARY:
Andrew C. Jackson, 69, of 11965 Bean Alley Road, died Thursday in his home after an extended illness.
Born in Bloomfield, Nebraska, he lived in the West Scio area where he farmed until moving to Aumsville in 1967. He was a cannery worker for Stayton Canning Co. the last 15 years.
Survivors include widow, Clara; daughters Patsy Peck and Lauretta Trahan, both of Albany, Calolyn Halsey, Lebanon, and Antoinette Jackson, Aumsville; brothers Melvin, Glen and Ivan Lattimore, all out of state; sisters, Ethel Krowpinski, Alberta, Canada, Delia Rathley, Weiser, Idaho, Hazel Powell, Albany, Nettie Sagar, Ephrata, Wash., and Tina Maas, Winner, S.D; seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Weddle mortuary, Stayton, and interment in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, West Stayton.
